PCGS Very Fine 30 - A-3 - Aug. 1 1841 Serial # 8949 Cut canceled. Harder to find note in a better than average grade. Bright clean no problem note with sharp printing. Beautifully engraved note from Endicott and Clark, New Orleans. Seated female leans on shield with the Lone Star at center pointing to the tools beside her. Wharf scene in background. Cotton plant at left. At center bottom is a scene with a youth watering a horse. The Capitol of the Republic of Texas was in Austin January 19, 1840 to September 1842.
