NGC Extremely Fine Details - Corrosion - 1787 New Jersey "Camel Head" variety with lightly porous surfaces. Many examples of the 1787 Camel Head coppers are struck over other colonial issues. This one is struck over a Connecticut copper. The obverse shows a horses head and plow with the legend NOVA CAESAREA (New Jersey). The reverse has a United States shield and, for the first time the legend E PLURIBUS UNUM (Out of many, one).
