Has a well executed tape repair on one of the cancellations. A Very Solid VF note with good margins and excellent paper and ink quality. Secretarial signature of Sam Houston as President. Tellus standing at left with foot on globe. Indian hunting bison on horseback at center. The Capitol of the Republic of Texas was in Houston April 19, 1837 to January 18, 1840. |

Well centered with excellent paper and ink quality. Indian seated looking at ruins at center, Lone Star at bottom center and Bust of Deaf Smith at right (Deaf Smith was aid to Sam Houston and Commander of Texas Scouts). Red Lone Star on back. The Capitol of the Republic of Texas was in Austin January 19, 1840 to September 1842. |
