Beautiful original uncirculated note with great margins, bright ink and excellent paper quality. Portrait of Salmon P. Chase on left, Secretary of the Treasury under Abraham Lincoln, 1861-1864, and Chief Justice of the U.S Supreme Court, 1864-1873. Best known for causing the motto "In God We Trust" to be adopted for our national coinage. Ornate green back. Made by the National Bank Note Company.	$3,750.00
